Summer Liberation
We have just completed the book of Acts. What follows is the book of Romans, which is important, dense and ponderous. It is the kind of study we should undertake in September when school resumes rather than in the heat of July and August.
Actually, the feedback we get is that many of us take vacations during the summer and, when we return, Liberating Word has stacked up. Catching up is tough with our busy lives. So, we thought we would delay tackling the book of Romans for the next two months, and, instead, send you a brief word of liberation from modern wisdom each day.
Please let me know what you think, and be prepared to tackle Paul's most important writing when we “see” you in September.
Today's Liberating Word:
“You can always have your way, if you have enough ways.”
This is an aphorism that has guided my life. We too often get stuck because we are looking at a problem from only one angle or we are convinced that there is only one good outcome. If we open ourselves to all the possibilities and continue to trust in the goodness of God and others, who knows what might happen? You may still get your way - it just may not be the way you first thought.
Today, live liberated from your preconceptions.
Blessings,
