Charlie will share the stage with Edward Mpagi Edmary, an exonerated death row inmate from Uganda. Boycotts: How Far is Too Far? How far are we to go to make a point in boycotting companies like Wal-Mart? I was driving back from Bailey, Colorado alone late one night back in August when I realized the red light was on, meaning I was almost out of gas. It was after 10pm out in the Texas panhandle and I needed gas. The first place I came to was in the edge of Vernon, a fairly scary place even in the daylight, but I pulled off to get some gas. The only thing open for gas at that exit was a Murphy’s USA, associated with the local Wal-Mart. I cringed and said to myself, “Nope, I'm not stopping here, I'll walk first!” and then pulled back on to the highway. So, I drove on through Vernon and found no other gas stations. Go back?
